we walk on water

breathe deep the north wind
that drives waves across flat sands
while sun warms my back

worlds away from mine,
their dance aimed at this stranger.

shows safe passage to comfort

stolen childhoods
nothing to do in this place

drive to arrive

we race through raindrops
